Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM & Co) advised US based Kora Management LP (“Kora”), in relation to its proposed investment of up to USD 125 million in the Edelweiss Group (“Proposed Transaction”). Of the total investment, Kora will infuse up to $75 million in the Edelweiss group’s advisory business, Edelweiss Global Investment Advisors (EGIA), subject to completion of certain identified milestones. The balance $50 million will be invested in the Edelweiss Group subsequently.

The Private Equity and M&A practice group at SAM & Co advised Kora in relation to the Proposed Transaction and were involved in all aspects related to Kora’s investment in the Edelweiss Group.
