Black River Food 2 Pte Limited has bought a minority stake in Hyderabad-based edible oils and fats making and marketing company Gemini Edibles & Fats, through a combination of primary and secondary acquisition, with a deal value of RS 640 crores. Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas acted for Gemini Edibles & Fats and the selling shareholders, with a team led by private equity partner Abhishek Guha, principal associate Ankit Kejriwal, associates Keegan Pavrey, Shambhavi Pandey and Richa Vatsa.
