S. Jalan & Company (SJCo) has advised India’s largest interior infrastructure company for acquisition of estimated 200 acres of land at Andhra Pradesh for setting up a plant for manufacture of medium density fiberboard (MDF). The Andhra Pradesh factory will be the second MDF factory set up in India by the Company. SJCo has already been working with the Company as its group Solicitor for past many years and is currently advising the Company for availing credit facilities from a leading German commercial bank for an export contract of plant and machinery worth € 468,09,600. The Kolkata and New Delhi Offices of S. Jalan & Company were involved in the transaction led by Sourav Ghosh, Partner along with his team at Kolkata and Soumyajit Nath, Senior Associate at New Delhi.
