Readers’ Feedback – September 2015

Readers’ Feedback – September 2015

Lex witness is a very informative magazine. The articles it publishes are quiet useful and exceptional to read. I would like to read more articles in the future, catering to practising lawyers of Supreme Court and High Court, as most of the articles now are primarily for corporate lawyers.

Lex Witness carries articles of high intellect, presented in an interesting manner. I suggest including articles on domestic and global legal issues raised by decisions of the Judiciary. I would also like to suggest that the magazine covers even more conferences across India and abroad.

I have been an avid reader of Lex Witness. Each issue includes a cover story on contemporary matters. The articles on corporate and economic laws are quite analytical and reveal in depth analysis. Regular features like Legal Snapshot, Capsules and Expert Speak are interesting and captivating. What catches the eye is the strict editing of the matters being printed which keeps up the editorial standards of the magazine. The editorial team deserves accolades for excellent efforts put by them for carving out each issue of Witness.

Lex Witness has already been imprinted in the minds of its readers. There are eloquent articles on corporate laws & news. However, I would suggest including more articles on Civil & Criminal laws, on Criminal Procedures, Trial Codes and more, for practicing lawyers. As a lawyer, it will be a great help to read these kinds of articles in future.

I find Lex Witness very refreshing and informative. Lex Witness is a reader’s friendly magazine. A non-legal professional can easily grasp the gist of the message. As a Company Secretary, the regular column which interest me the most is Expert Speak. It always has very interesting & updated facts on High Court & Supreme Court. It provides insights on all the new judgments. I would want to read more about commercial policy issues like competition bill, and corporate topics with legal focus.

Overall, Lex Witness is a very versatile magazine. But, still High Court judgments & amendments from south Indian states like Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu etc. are least covered. I would like to suggest covering the same more often. My favorite regular column is the Snippets. I can find all the important information pieces at one place. It saves lot of time. One could also increase coverage on corporate & criminal law in the southern part of the country.

Advocate, High Court, Chennai

I found Lex Witness to be a very disciplined magazine. It has all the information one would like to read in this field. Articles dealing with commercial laws are very interesting. It will be great to read more articles on topics related to foreign exchange & trade, new amendments & judgments passed by High Courts across the country. Further, I found regular columns like Strategy Corridors to be very striking & informative.
