Readers’ Feedback – September 2011

Readers’ Feedback – September 2011

Dear Mr. Srinivasan, I cannot resist myself but to express my appreciation for the way ‘Lex Witness’, within two years is rendering great service, not only to the members of legal fraternity but to large number of people from the corporate world and to the students. India’ growing economy, in spite of recession, is opening many challenges, requiring widening its horizon to meet this contingency. There are many virgin fields to be worked out. Not only intellectual property but cyber laws, laws relating to International trade, laws on pollution etc. are still in its nascent stage. As wisdom and human mind have no limit, so the infinite laws and their branches. Innovative thoughts always spring out from this fertile field, which you are cultivating through your monthly publication. I am sure your magazine will continue to explore many facets of law, its problems and remedies by drawing intellectual contributions for harvesting the crop of peace, amity and augmentation of country’s progress. For all this, I congratulate you and all members of your team and of course your legendary advisors.

I wish you and your team all the best.

Dear Sir, The article published in August’2011 issue on the art of cross examination, which included a observation by advocate Mr. Chandra Prakash, was highly informative and guiding for new criminal lawyers. My suggestion is to publish more exhaustive articles on this important topic by this living legend, who is a master on this subject.

Dear Sir, Having read the latest issue received in our library, the students at Amity Law School eagerly wait for the next issue of Witness to come and get benefited out ofit. I have a strong feedback for the magazine from our esteemed professors as well. In the current issue, the most liked articles by the library users was "Land Acquisition Law: People, Industry and Development, and "Moot Courts; Relevance and Limitations".

Dear Mr Grover, My compliments for the excellent issue and for the two glorious years of this path breaking new magazine. I think you people have raised the bar on legal publications. The articles are very interesting - even for a non lawyer like me. particularly when one is to draw the comparisons with the excruciatingly boring "legalese" of most things coming from lawyers. The paper, printing and over all presentation is of course superb.
