The cover story on medical negligence in your February issue has come out very well. I want to give you one suggestion that while giving the crux of the important judgments under judicial activism, please cite the case so that it would be easier for the reader to look for the same. Keep it up and let us be eye-witness to the great success of your WITNESS!
Saw the magazine. It is a good magazine and its’ contents are very good indeed. I want the magazine to highlight the plight of a witness in this country; about how there is no law to protect a witness. Neither the police nor the judges nor lawyers do anything to protect witnesses. I have been advocating against judicial corruption for 20 years. I submitted a paper. The statutory protection for the downtrodden communities is misused by judges and lawyers in this community. In Andhra Pradesh, especially I see that judges and lawyers are using the provisions of various laws to suppress the voice of the poor and the downtrodden. I have myself been an advocate against judicial corruption for more than 20 years. I feel this aspect of the judiciary needs to be highlighted in the magazine.
It is a wonderful magazine, very informative. To the last extent, I feel, your magazine has covered Supreme Court judgments and enactments.
I saw two issues in the High Court. It is far more useful for lawyers in comparison to all other magazines in Chandigarh. The quality of the magazine is excellent. It would be nice to see any column which can be for the laymen like ‘Know your rights’. Also, ever since the movie 3 Idiots released, I want to see some write-up on ragging and the positive and negative sides of it. So that even people who are not lawyers, can use such knowledge.
I feel the magazine is well-written. I like that the articles are not too lengthy but to-the-point. I am very satisfied with the magazine’s content. Being just out of law school, I would like to suggest you to organise a competition for students to make them more involved with the legal field.
If there is a complete contemporary magazine on legal and corporate issues, then it is none but Lex Witness. The information on burning legal topics and expert opinions call for appreciation and it deserves to be read from cover to cover.
I am very impressed with the articles and interviews in the magazine. It seems that there is a lot of good effort put behind making the magazine’s content interesting. I would of course like some stories on entertainment law. Another suggestion is that why don’t you include articles with foreign case law rather than only Indian judgments since a lot of Indian Courts rely on foreign judgments also?
Although, I'm not a lawyer, just happened to catch this magazine at a friend’s place and it surely seems like law isn’t totally something that I don't have the capacity to understand. Thanks to the simplicity in the language in your magazine. Can you please have some column that will make me aware of my rights in day-to-day subjects?
