It is quite a handy & helpful magazine. It is very resourceful touching the recent topics. I personally liked the article on the amendment in the Competition Law & Corporate Restructuring. Also, the details of local and national events happening are really useful.
I think the magazine is a very good initiative. I myself have recommended the magazine to a number of people. I also recommend the same to my friends based abroad. I enjoy reading Snippets; it helps us to keep ourselves updated. I also liked the article on Data Protection. I would suggest Lex Witness to come out with E- magazines.
Lex Witness is a very good insight for legal professionals especially the corporate group. The details about the conferences and events happening in the industry are always I look up to. My suggestion to the team is to more elaborate the Supreme Court Judgments. As I am from the logistic industry, so please include articles from such sectors as well in an elaborative form. Over all a good job done by Lex Witness.
I like the magazine. It covers all the prevailing updates and captures almost all legal issues. The Expert Speak Section, where an expert critically analyzes the issue, like you did in the last issue on TDS on Property Transfer was something interesting to read. Sharing of expert analysis by renowned lawyers is pretty informative. I would like to suggest that try and incorporate the detailed analysis on the recent regulatory changes, as everyone knows the existing laws and acts but the upcoming regulatory changes is something reader is looking forward to.
The magazine is quite self explanatory and very informative. I enjoyed reading the article that was published on Land Acquisition, in May 2012 issue. I would also like to suggest Team Witness to come up with dedicated columns to keep us updated on the amendments and regulatory updates.
I am avid reader of various articles in Witness magazine. As I look after contractual & legal matters for my project, I can correlate many issues discussed over in Witness with my routine project related issues. Insightful writings in Witness have given me a basic legal & logical perspective to look at the matters in hand. I can proficiently avail the expertise of renowned professionals, which they have achieved with their incumbent work experience, and apply the analogies in my work, thanks to Witness. That’s why; I find this peculiar characteristic of Witness very distinct & interesting practicality! I have one suggestion for Team Witness which you may want to implement. Witness regularly publishes articles about revised rules, regulations, laws, amendments etc. However, the actual case studies by corporate professionals regarding the particular issues in their company do not frequently appear in your magazine. Team Witness should encourage such type of writing and should publish the same regularly. I am referring to Engineering & Construction industry in particular. For confidentiality sake, commercial details may not be explicitly written, however in-principle applicability can at least be elaborated. Actual case studies can help the readers to consider pragmatic approaches towards the resolutions of their issues. Trust Team Witness will consider my suggestion. All the very best!!
