Readers’ Feedback – December 2012

Readers’ Feedback – December 2012

It gives me a great pleasure to write a review on witness magazine. It has been a great learning tool for all legal professionals like me. The concepts, analysis and the in-depth knowledge that this magazine carries is remarkable. I have no hesitation in recommending Witness to all law and corporate professionals.

It’s a pioneering exercise and it is a first magazine of its kind which addresses the fundamental legal issues - both contemporary as well as having an important bearing on society. It acts as a platform for legal minds to address and debate on several issues leading to the growth of law as legal principles. At times, I feel the content is more biased towards corporate as compared to litigation.

Joy Basu
Advocate, Supreme Court of India, New Delhi

Overall the magazine is nice. One area which I think is missing is the litigation side. Also, please add 2-3 pages on latest case laws. Presentation of the magazine is good.

The magazine always addresses the upcoming issues. For law students reading about such burning topics is really helpful. I particularly liked reading the July 2012 edition which was on Mergers. It’s a good magazine, I am glad that I subscribed it.

It’s always been a delightful experience to have this enriching monthly bulletin cum knowledge treasure in my hand. The versatile contents and contemporary issues make this journal unique and interesting from the others. My favorite pages are capsules, opinion and needless to say job openings. The superior paper quality certainly provides a pleasant ride to the readers and a prolonged place in personal libraries. Cartoon and humor are the areas where you need to work more, I suggest do not confine it to legal fraternity and make it general. Bizarre Laws column is hard to believe, request you to provide web links or reference codes for readers' convenience.

I appreciate the way Witness is maintained; it’s a well produced magazine. But I would suggest the editorial to include some regional stories, also try and involve more and more industry professionals in the magazine.

I am a subscriber to this magazine for 2 years now and am very happy with the quality of the same. It covers article from all legal facets like corporate, finance & jurisprudence. The content of the magazine is worth reading.

Witness is first of its kind of a magazine in the field of Legal and Corporate Affairs; I wish success to the Magazine. I like Legal Capsules and Snippets and suggest adding more and more into it, from various areas of Law.

Ashok Kumar Sahu

The magazine is very interesting and helpful. Lex Witness always invites knowledgeable people to write for them. Profiles who are interviewed in the magazine are good and known to the industry. A recent story over Bhatia International covered in the last issue was very analytical and interesting to read.
