I was very overwhelmed to read your Education Special section in the March edition of Lex Witness. The article titled, “The Change must Come From Within” by BithikaAnand provided a very perceptive and holistic overview of the status of Legal Education in India.
I have been a regular subscriber to your magazine Lex Witness. Your section titled, “Education Special” is worthy of honourable mention, especially the “Emerging Practice Areas” in your February 2011 edition, which featured Civil Aviation Industry & Sports Industry from the legal standpoint.
Your team of experts at Lex Witness are doing a commendable job by meticulously defining the criticality of key legal issues in the corporate world and building a core value-based knowledge and awareness within the legal fraternity.
Your magazine Lex Witness covers various legal issues pertaining to socioeconomic issues and issues relating to the corporates. It is a great reading experience when I go through your “Capsules” and “Snippets” section which showcase a variety of news on current legal scenario.
I have been constantly reading your Capsules and Snippets section. I indeed laud the efforts of your editorial team to keep us updated on crucial news and current legal state of affairs not only from the Corporate segment, but also from the Supreme Court and different High Courts of our country.
Although, we subscribe to various legal magazines, but, your magazine Lex Witness is different and stands apart in knowledge-based contents. Your recent Cover Story in the March edition titled, “Mergers & Acquisitions: The Surge” and viewpoints of eminent legal personalities gave a comprehensive analysis on the subject.
I received a copy of your magazine Lex Witness at the Commonwealth Law Conference 2011, Hyderabad. The concept and the contents of the magazine were really appreciative, especially, the Cover Story titled, “Reviewing the Indian Evidence Act, 1872”. I encourage the Publishers of the magazine to forge ahead with their expertise.
