RPS Consultancy Private Limited (“RPS”), a leading provider of training programs on emerging technologies for experienced technology professionals, was acquired by NIIT Limited (“NIIT”), a global skills and talent development company and a leading provider of managed training services. NIIT acquired a majority stake of 70% in RPS and will acquire the balance 30% stake in the subsequent tranches. Majmudar & Partners acted as legal advisors for RPS and assisted in: (i) the due diligence process, (ii) the review, negotiation and finalization of the transaction documents, and (iii) the process of closure of the transaction.
