Khaitan & Co. acted as legal counsel to the Vedant Fashions Limited and Promoter Selling Shareholder as to Indian Law in relation to the initial public offering of the company comprising of offer for sale of 36,364,838 equity shares by the selling shareholders, Rhine Holdings Limited, Kedaara Capital AIF – 1 and Ravi Modi Family Trust (acting through its trustee, Modi Fiduciary Services Private Limited). The core team consisted of Sudhir Bassi (Executive Director), Abhimanyu Bhattacharya (Partner), Navodita Gupta (Principal Associate), Devarshi Mukhopadhyay (Senior Associate), Saisha Bacha (Associate), Varshini Sunder (Associate). Total consideration of the deal comprised of INR 30000 million (USD 412 million).
