Khaitan& Co. advised Mahindra Insurance Brokers Limited & Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited for an investment by Inclusion Resources Private Limited for acquisition of 15% stake in Mahindra Insurance Brokers Limited. The approximate consideration of this deal is USD 15 million (INR 80,41,23,840). The investment was made with an objective of providing high quality and affordable insurance to Indians with low annual incomes with a focus on strengthening insurance capabilities particularly with respect to rural and semi-urban low-income Indians. The transaction was led by Bhavik Narsana, Partner, Khaitan & Co.
