Khaitan & Co advised Ashwin Sheth Group on the title due diligence of ‘One Marina’, a project at Marine Lines, Mumbai, being developed by Valencia and Mishal Ventures Private Limited. The land is owned by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM). Ashwin Sheth Group acquired a 50% stake in the company and will jointly develop the project with existing shareholder YM Infra Group.

The team comprising Amit H Wadhwani (Partner), Rahul Agarwal (Principal Associate), and Reet Namjoshi (Associate) assisted on due diligence, including potential risks from redevelopment of MCGM-owned land with tenanted structures and compliance with MCGM’s redevelopment policy.
