Khiatan& Co. advised Standard Chartered Bank, London in relation to a corporate guarantee provided by Crompton Greaves Limited under the overseas direct investment route, in order to secure a Euro 20 million term loan facility availed by CG International BV, Netherlands. Firm was involved as Indian legal advisor to the Lender. Total consideration of the deal was USD 27 million approximately.
