J.Sagar Associates (JSA) advised and assisted Mercer Consulting (India) Private Limited (a subsidiary of Marsh & Mc Lennan Companies Inc.) (Mercer) in its acquisition of India Life Capital Private Limited, one of the largest SEBI-registered investment advisors engaged in advising more than 150 retirement trusts and other institutional funds with in excess of INR 30,0 00 Crores under advisory (the Acquisition).

Mercer is one of the world’s largest investment advisory firms, with approximately $240B assets under delegated management, and as a result of this Acquisition, will provide companies with access to leading global advice and financial solutions. With this Acquisition, Mercer will expand its existing wealth business in India, enabling it to offer investment advisory services to retirement funds and other institutional assets, and also bring in the full portfolio of Mercer’s Investments solutions to its clients in India. The Acquisition provides Mercer with an experienced team with deep expertise in India’s investments and retirement market.
