The firm acted as the legal counsel to the consortium of lenders, led by Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA Ltd.), for afinancial assistance aggregating to INR 382.50 croresto Photon Surya Kiran Private Limited. This financial assistance was extended for a part financing the cost of setting up of 70 MW (2×20 MW & 3×10 MW) solar power grid connected project at solar park at Varavukaval, Challakere, Chitradurga district in Karnataka. The firm advised on drafting of financing and security documents, conducting due diligence on the borrower, its promoters and project documents, and issuing opinions on the legal issues.
