The Firm has acted as Lender’s legal counsel to the consortium of lenders led by L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited on the financial assistance of INR 6200.00 Million to Orange Mamatkheda Wind Private Limited for repayment of the existing project indebtedness in relation to 100.5 MW wind power project at Mamatkheda, District Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. The consortium comprised of L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited and Indian Renewable Energy Agency Limited.

Girish Rawat, Partner led the Firm’s banking and capital market team on the above transaction. The other team members included Sakshi Puliani, Senior Associate, Shikha Singh and Ananta Singh, Associate. The work included conducting due diligence of the borrower, its promoters and project documents, drafting of the financing and security documents and issuing opinion on the legal issues.
