The Firm acted as the lender’s legal counsel to Power Finance Corporation Limited for financial assistance aggregating to INR 0.41 billion sanctioned by it to Jyoti Solar Solutions Private Limited. The sanction is a partial financing for setting up of 10 MW AC (12.5 MWp) Solar PV Power Project in Balangir district, Odisha. The scope of work included drafting of financing and security documents, conducting due diligence on the borrower, its promoters and project documents, title search of the project land and issuing opinions on the legal issues. Girish Rawat, Partner, led the Firm’s Banking and Project Finance team on the above transaction. The other team members included Sakshi Puliani, Senior Associate and Varun Chauhan, Associate.
