The firm advised INR Energy Ventures with regard to acquisition of the entire shareholding in Belgaum Solar Power Private Limited. The said company is engaged in the implementation of the 30 MW solar power project allotted at Madagundai, Shegunashi and Mamadapur Villages, Taluk Babaleshwar, Vijayapura District, Karnataka. The Firm further advised INR Energy Ventures and Belgaum Solar Power Private Limited on the aggregation of the land admeasuring 120 acres (approx.) for setting up of said Solar Power Projects. The scope of work included drafting of Securities Purchase Agreement, drafting ancillary documents, conducting due diligence on the target companies, its project documents, consents, licences of the project, assisting the client in completing the closing actions for effective transfer of securities from shareholders of the target companies to the Client or its group entities and conducting the title verification of the land parcels and advising client on the various legal issues concerning acquisition of the said land.
