The Firm has acted as the Lenders’ Legal Counsel to the consortium of lenders, led by Power Finance Corporation Limited for the financial assistance of INR 5,854.90 Million to Orange Anantapur Wind Power Private Limited for part financing the cost of implementing setting up of 100.80 MW (48 nos. of 2100 kW WTGs each) Wind Power Project at Tehsil Urvakonda, District Anantpur, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The consortium comprised of Power Finance Corporation Limited and Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited.

Girish Rawat, Associate Partner led the Firm’s banking & capital market team on the above transaction. The other team member included Guranpreet Singh Sarna, Sakshi Puliani, Senior Associates, and Shikha Singh and Ananta Singh, Associates. The scope of work included drafting of financing and security documents, conducting due diligence on the borrower, its promoters and project documents, and issuing opinions on the legal issues.
