J. Sagar Associates advised Michael S. Dell and Silverlake Group L.L.C., in its merger filing before the Competition Commission of India with respect to the global acquisition / take private of Dell Inc. by Michael S. Dell and Silverlake Group L.L.C.

Mr. Dell is the founder of Dell Inc., and Silverlake Group L.L.C. is a US-based Private Equity firm. The CCI granted unconditional approval for the proposed transaction on April 16, 2013.
