Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Limited, a union between Bajaj Finserv and Allianz SE, divested its stake to the extent of 0.9% held in Idea Cellular Limited to Axiata Investments 2 (India) Ltd, a Mauritius based company. Kochhar & Co., Mumbai, advised and assisted Bajaj Allianz in relation to amendment of its term sheet in respect of the transaction and held negotiations with the attorneys representing Axiata Investments 2 (India) Ltd. The Kochhar team was headed by the Partner, Mr. Rajarshi Chakrabarti and assisted by Associate Ms. Anjali R. Menon. The transaction was valued at approximately Rupees 3.067 billion.
