Firm advised Standard Chartered Financial Holdings and its affiliates (“SCPE”), in relation to all aspects of the transaction, including structuring of the transaction, drafting and negotiation of the transaction documents and conducting due diligence of the Target and its subsidiaries. Deal involved acquisition of a significant stake by SCPE in the power transmission business of Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL) which is being held by the Target. Total Consideration was for approx. INR 5 billion (approx. USD 84 million).
