AZB acted for the Sievert Group on all aspects of the transaction, including drafting and negotiation of transaction documents and regulatory advice. The transaction involves the sale of shares of the Sievert Group, a leading provider of non-destructive testing and related industrial inspection services (catering primarily to the oil & gas industry) in India and the Middle East, in favour of affiliates of Bureau Veritas International SAS, France.

The transaction was structured as a divestment of, inter alia, 100% in Sievert India Private Limited (India) and also different percentage in various other Sievert entities in Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Oman, Dubai and Qatar. Concerned Partner & Associate in the deal were Srinath Dasari and Nanditha Gopal.
