Launch of CPSE ETF, an open-ended index exchange traded scheme by Goldman Sachs Asset Management (India) Private Limited (“GSAM India”), to facilitate the Government of India to disinvest its stake in certain central public sector enterprises (“CPSE”) to the extent of approximately INR 30 billion (approximately USD 500 million) (corresponding to a maximum of 3% of the paid up share capital of the CPSEs). The role of the firm was; (i) Drafting the offer documents, application forms, etc. for the Scheme. Applications to SEBI for the Scheme and (ii) Advising, negotiating and drafting the Share Purchase Agreement executed between GSAM India and Government of India.
