Amarchand Mangaldas acted as the legal advisor to ALSTOM T&D India Limited (ATDIL), who made an offer to issue up to 16,942,500 equity shares to the qualified institutional buyers through an institutional placement programme under chapter VIII-A of the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009 (ICDR Regulations). The Red Herring Prospectus was filed with the Registrar of Companies, National Capital Territory of Delhi and Haryana on November 22, 2013. The said offer has been made by ATDIL to comply with the minimum public shareholding requirements prescribed under applicable Indian laws.
