Acquisition of KRIBHCO Infrastructure Limited by Continental Warehousing Corporation (Nhava Seva) Limited

J. Sagar Associates advised and assisted Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited in the proposed sale of 76% shares of its wholly owned subsidiary KRIBHCO Infrastructure Limited (“KRIL”) to Continental Warehousing Corporation (Nhava Seva) Limited (“CWCNSL”).

KRIL is an integrated multi-modal logistics operator in India operating major Inland Container Depots/Private Freight Terminals at Pali (Haryana); Modinagar (Uttar Pradesh) and Hazira (Gujarat), and has container train operations with a pan India outreach. CWCNSL is a subsidiary of Hindustan Infralog Private Limited (“HIPL”), which is a joint venture between Dubai Ports World and National Investment and Infrastructure Fund. With the proposed transaction, HIPL will become one of the leading integrated rail terminal and container train operators in India with an enhanced network to provide end-to-end connectivity to cargo owners.
