On Saturday, 13th December 2025, Sadgamaya marked its 9th Anniversary with an evening of fellowship and celebration at the Taj Vivanta Ambassador, Delhi, near Khan Market. The gathering brought together members, friends, and well-wishers from diverse professional backgrounds, including the legal fraternity, to commemorate nearly a decade of shared journeys and collective growth.
The evening unfolded with dinner, music, drinks, and camaraderie, creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflected Sadgamaya’s ethos of community and connection.
The celebration was graced by the who’s who of the legal community, including senior advocates and the Learned Attorney General for India, Shri R. Venkataramani. Their presence underscored the stature of the occasion and the respect Sadgamaya commands within the legal fraternity.
The word Sadgamaya is of Sanskrit origin, meaning “Lead me to Truth.” It also happens to be the name of the residence of Late Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer in Kochi, Kerala, India—a fitting inspiration for a collective devoted to knowledge and justice.
Knowledge, as the supreme vehicle to reach the goal of truth, must never stagnate. Just as wealth and water lose their value when hoarded, knowledge must be shared freely, flowing across minds and communities. With this underlying thought, Sadgamaya was formed as a group committed to:
For the legal community, Sadgamaya’s anniversary was more than a social occasion—it was a reminder of the role such platforms play in fostering dialogue, strengthening professional bonds, and nurturing friendships beyond the courtroom and boardroom. The informal setting allowed practitioners, scholars, and industry leaders to engage in conversations that transcend the boundaries of formal practice, reinforcing the idea that law thrives not only in statutes and judgments but also in relationships and shared experiences.
As glasses were raised and music filled the air, the 9th Anniversary Celebration stood as a testament to Sadgamaya’s enduring vision: to create spaces where professional excellence meets personal fellowship. The evening closed on a note of optimism, with participants looking forward to the next chapter in Sadgamaya’s journey—one that promises continued engagement, dialogue, and celebration of community spirit.
