AZB & Partners advises BlackRock, Inc. and BlackRock Advisors Singapore Pte. Ltd. in relations to incorporating the AMC and Trustee to operate and manage inter alia a SEBI registered mutual fund in India by BlackRock and Jio Financial Services.

BlackRock Inc., BlackRock and JFS will set up a joint venture through the incorporation of an asset management company (“AMC”) and a trustee company (“Trustee”) to undertake inter alia the setting up and operation of a mutual fund registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”).

Total consideration of the deals is for USD 300 Mn/ approx. INR 24.82 Bn.
