The Firm advised Power Finance Corporation Limited for financial assistance of INR 84.78 Crore granted to Suvidhi Ispat Private Limited, for the purpose of setting-up and implementing a 25 MW waste heat recovery bases (WHRB) captive power plant at Rasmara, Borai Industrial Growth Centre, Durg, Chhattisgarh. The scope of work inter-alia included conducting due diligence of the borrower company and the project documents, drafting of transaction documents, negotiation with the borrower team, drafting of the financing and security documents, resolutions, certificates, pre-commitment compliance report, pre-disbursement compliance report, reviewing title search report of the local counsel(s) and issuance of closing legal opinion. The team included Guranpreet Singh Sarna (Partner), Ms. Shikha Singh (Principal Associate), Avlokita Kanwar (Associate) and Aparajita Mitra (Associate).

The Firm advised Power Finance Corporation Limited for financial assistance of INR 184.60 Crore granted to Sherisha Rooftop Solar SPV Four Private Limited for implementation of 50 MW (AC) / 68 MWp (DC) Solar PV Plant at Bhilai Railway Marshalling Yard, District Durg, Chhattisgarh. The scope of work included conducting due diligence of the borrower company, project documents and existing financing documents, structuring of escrow mechanism with the Railway authority involved in the transaction, drafting of the financing and security documents, reviewing title search report of the local counsel(s) and issuing opinion on the legal issues.
