Lex Witness is slowly and slowly progressing from stage of evolution to creating a platform to bring in revolutionary changes across all the domains of the country. As a responsible media the magazine is an excellent source of information for professionals who possess a serious conscience.
Lex Witness is a different kind of a legal publication all together. I like reading it as it provides a lot of industry update and law-related information in a very crisp manner. It is a class apart from other journals and books. It keeps on introducing newer and better topics issue after issue.
Although it is a legal magazine, I have been noticing since quite a few issues that it carries quite a few articles which happen to be a good source of knowledge and illustration on a lot of nice to know things about the undercurrents of the India Inc. It is good to keep abreast with a few legal updates and news even if one is not a legal professional.
Lex Witness should also come up with a Hindi version of the magazine as a major population of the country would prefer to have such a publication in a language which is easier to read and understand for them.
Reading Witness over the last 6 months has been an enormous learning experience. It helps to understand legal issues so critical to business and personal life especially for those with little legal knowhow. Thank you Witness. Cheers to your future!
There was always a need to have a publication in the legal domain which helps students to know what experts say on Law as a career and various aspects of legal education as well.
We at IMS have been regular readers of Witness and really appreciate the efforts of the editors in introducing the Education Special section which lets us know what the people from the industry think about the Indian Legal Education system as a whole. Moreover, it would be great if students are give a chance to express their in the section too.
Lex Witness is a wonderful magazine when it comes to legal & corporate issues, it has managed well to maintain a standard of the kind of contributors and writers from the industry as it always creates an anxiety amongst readers like me to know what the known faces think and feel about certain topical issues. What further adds on to the quality of the magazine is a regular update of what kind of conferences are happening when and where.
The article "Indian Legal Education: Meeting the Challenges of Globalisation" provides an excellent insight on development of legal education and its challenges in India. It was also interesting to read the article on live topics such as 'National Commission for Higher Education and Research Bill'.
