Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff& Co. has been appointed as the legal counsel by the board of directors of JK Sugar Limited for assisting and advising the company in its proposed amalgamation with Dhampur Sugar Mills Limited. The board of directors of JK Sugar Limited in its meeting held on June 9, 2012, gave its final approval to the proposed amalgamation of the company with Dhampur Sugar Mills Limited, through a scheme of amalgamation under Sections 391 to 394 of the Companies Act, 1956.
