Toyota Enterprises India Private Limited (Toyota India), the Indian arm of Toyota Enterprise Inc., has forayed into the Indian hospitality space by entering into a joint venture with Hyagreeva Hotels & Resorts Private Limited, which operates ‘The Chancery’ hotel in Bangalore. This is the first hotel in India to be marketed mainly to the Japanese business community visiting Bangalore. The operations are proposed to begin from January 2013. Nishith Desai Associates, acted as legal counsel to Toyota India for this joint venture.
