General Atlantic Partners(GA) and Oak Hill Capital Partners (Oak Hill) have agreed to sell around 30% stake in Genpact Limited to Bain Capital Partners LP for a consideration of approximately USD 1 billion. Genpact Limited is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and is a leading player in the business support and outsourcing sector, with operations in over 20 countries around the world. Nishith Desai Associates, advised GA and Oak Hill as Indian legal and tax counsel for the transaction.
