Khaitan & Co. advised Mahindra Satyam in relation to launch of a joint venture in association with SBI Holdings Inc, Japan. The joint venture is aimed at investing in Information, communications and technology (ICT) companies globally and the size of the proposed joint venture will be USD 50 million with equal contribution from both parties. Firm acted as Indian legal counsel to Mahindra Satyam and assisted in deal documentation and provided Indian law advice. The deal was led by Ravi Kulkarni, Senior Partner &Vaishali Sharma, Partner.
