Karan Bindra is the Founder and Partner at KIAA, LLP (Knowledge Information Acess Associates). Mr. Karan Bindra has studied in Delhi Public School, Mathura Road and later on completed his B.A. LLB (H) From Amity Law School as well as he has specialized in the International Business and environmental Law from American University, Washington D.C. along with specialization in Economics from University of Berne, Switzerland. He has presented numerous papers before professional societies, and has contributed to professional books. He has also been speaker at various conferences around the globe.
Karan specializes in negotiating and drafting intellectual property agreements along with the Banking and Corporate sectors. He is also on the panel of various MNC’s and foreign embassies in India and He also possesses a good knowledge in terms Cyber Security laws in India.
Karan plays a key role at KIAA, LLP in doing businesses with foreign clients and also he look after M&A and advising on different corporate issues to various companies in India.
Kumar ankur Partner, KIAA, LLP Being the first generation lawyer, Kumar has strived hard to carve out a place for himself in the Law fraternity. His quest for understanding the nuances of the profession has always been supported by his dedication and he has worked diligently under the guidance of Pragyan Pradip Sharma, Rupesh Gupta, and Siddhartha Lodha before venturing into KIAA. Kumar has keen interest in playing golf and in his leisure time this activity keeps him busy and has played golf on all India Amateur Level and he aggressively pursues this as a stress buster after hectic day at work.
Chayan Sarkar Partner, KIAA, LLP Chayan Sarkar hails from a family comprising of a few generations of lawyers and judges, he being the 5th. After finishing his schooling from D.B.M.S Jamshedpur, he graduated from Amity Law School, Noida. He gave up an opportunity to go for his masters in one of the U.K Ivy League colleges as he found no need of the same in litigation in India, which is his genre. He has worked in some high profile cases and has assisted in the 2G trial, the Tata Motors defamation case to name a few and has had a good lower court experience which he feels is a must for any lawyer for going up the ladder. He considers his father, his role model, who himself is a Sr. Lawyer in Jharkhand.
He is also an honorary arbitrator at the Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, Hong Kong. He has been an honorary speaker at the International Conference of Jurists held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi along with several other reputed conferences and seminars all over the country. Currently he is handling mostly criminal, matrimonial and arbitration matters at KIAA, LLP but has also made himself competent and has worked in civil and IPR matters.
