Readers’ Feedback – April 2013

Readers’ Feedback – April 2013

The magazine is really good and helpful too; although, I would be more interested in reading some more articles over criminal matters. Even my friends and office colleagues like reading the magazine. The printing and paper quality is really good it makes the reading experience even better. Also, it makes the magazine stand different from the rest, so do maintain it!

I find the magazine quite useful as you cover a vast range of issues, considering IPR, Corporate law, litigation. I really like your column of Buzz Square and also the events updates. It’s a good monthly dose for the law professionals. I believe that the magazine should raise the quantity of articles. Look forward to much more knowledgeable articles.

Lex Witness helps me in being updated as a law student. The event details published in the magazine are really helpful in building up a strong network. It was interesting to read the article over ‘Modification of Builder Buyer Agreement by Competition Commission’ in the March edition. Also, the Buzz Square and Trivia columns make an interesting read.

The articles seems to be stereotype perhaps you should change the style of writing and being more educative in some articles rather than being informative. Also, you should try and cover more industries and more issues may be even from public sector. Also, I really believe that you should continue with the Public Opinion column which is missing from a few recent issues as that was a nice way through which even the subscribers could contribute in the magazine. And please make Lex Witness a stand magazine where it shall be available to the public as well.

It’s a must read for law professionals; I personally recommend it for law students as well as budding professionals. It provides a nice insight into the current events. I really cherish reading the Trivia column of the magazine. The editorial is doing a great job; I especially liked reading ‘Criminal Law (Amendment) Ordinance 2013’ from the March edition; the way the author expressed views over rape and sexual assault it made it very distinct and informative. The only suggestion that I would like to give here is there should be more articles on women empowerment.

I am really delighted to receive the Lex Witness February 2013 issue. The magazine has an interesting chapter titled, 'Understanding Debt Financing'. We all know what is debt and financing. When read together, these words give an altogether a different concept in common parlance. Many ideas exist in the world and when such ideas are found out, it is called a discovery and attributed to the person who has found out the same. The magazine has done a wonderful job in this direction. The articles published in the magazine have helped me a lot in acquiring new knowledge which adds to my insights as a lawyer. I have a suggestion: do try to include a section featuring articles written by eminent Indian jurists such as V.R. Krishna Iyer, Soli Sorabjee, and Fali S. Nariman among others. Lex Witness publishes well-researched articles on legal issues. Do keep up the good work and continue publishing quality content.
