Readers’ Feedback – May 2013

Overall the magazine is informative for In House counsel Sector. Some of the articles I recall are on Vishaka Guidelines published in December issue and the other on IPR which I enjoyed reading. Would like to request the Editorial Team of Witness to include some content for PSU’s who are funding Private Houses. As we would like to know about the format of Public Guarantee, Corporate Guarantee, Back to Back Contracts , developments in the Import and Export Formalities.

I like the Snippet & Capsule sections of the magazine, as it updates me from the latest developments and Supreme Court Judgments. Would like to read articles covered in more depth including the pros & cons of the issue. Also, include content on Civil Litigation as I feel arbitration is covered more and articles over rent matter and matrimonial matter should also be covered.

Lex Witness is good to keep in touch with. It covers almost all legal issues. I especially like the Humour Section of the magazine i.e Trivia. The Cover Stories you cover are all almost in a form of a debate, which is quite informative. It covers pretty comprehensively the pros & cons of the issues you talk about. This magazine is one of its kind among the legal population. You guys are doing quite a good job!

It is a very comprehensive magazine. It has everything for everyone. Editors are doing an excellent job. I am looking at this magazine from day one and when I see it crossing its third year, I must say you have crossed all the milestones so far. The best part of the magazine is, it keeps us updated about all conferences, seminars & workshops happening pan India and at times abroad. It also keeps us updated on current issues right from Criminal to Corporate & IPR Laws etc. I must say this, that apart from the rest other things on my table like papers, cheques files, stationary etc, Lex Witness finds its own place on it. Wish you all the Best!

I am not a legal professional, but still I love reading your magazine. The articles covered on Trademarks, IPR, and Company law interests me more. The issues related to consumers, personal Laws, cyber issues, Identity threat etc are not given full justice. Please include more content for layman as well, as the magazine is more focused for corporate lawyers. I subscribe this magazine as being owning an online portal, I myself deal with lot of legal problems and at times your magazine guides me.

Being a In House Corporate Lawyer, I find articles pertaining to conferences mostly cover the date, venue, organisor details, and participant’s name. I recommend of adding couple of paragraphs on the salient features of the conference’s key learning’s. As, who were not present there, can take benefit out of it. Also, I feel the snippets mentioned should be more and captured properly. Articles written are well detailed and suffice to the requirement of the readers. I particularly liked the articles on Transfer Pricing, Evidence Law, Matrimonial Laws, Amendments in copyright Act, IPR, Pharma & Drug Patents etc.
