Khaitan & Co. advised Open Text in relation to 100% acquisition by Open Text of Cordys Software India Private Limited, the Indian subsidiary of Cordys Holdings BV, as part of the global acquisition of 100% of the Cordys Group which has operations in over ten jurisdictions, including India. Cordys is a privately held and Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services provider based out of the Netherlands and was founded in the year 2001. Total consideration for the deal was USD 33 million. The Firm advised the client on general corporate, regulatory and employment aspects in relation to the acquisition of Cordys Software India Private Limited.
