J. Sagar Associates (JSA) advised Mannoh Industrial Co Ltd., Japan (Mannoh), a technology leader in automatic, AMT, CVT and MT type automobile gear shift lever assemblies, in its Joint Venture with Lumax Auto Technologies Limited (Lumax).

Pursuant to the transaction, Lumax holds 55% of the paid up share capital of the new Joint Venture Company – LumaxMannoh Allied Technologies Limited (LMAT) and Mannoh holds 45% in LMAT.

LMAT will be engaged in the business of designing and manufacturing complete gear shift lever systems for manual, automatic, AMT & CVT transmissions in India.

The JSA team comprised Partner – Trisheet Chatterjee and Senior Associates – Bharati Joshi & Zain Pandit.
