Last week, Zaiwalla& Co. were successful in defending their clients (three Indian nationals) in a Contempt of Court Proceedings.

The English Court emphasised the fact that English Court Orders made against Foreign Companies should be complied with by their Directors and held that if the Court finds that a company has failed to comply with an Order, it has the power to fine or imprison the directors of the company provided it finds that they wilfully failed to comply with such Order.
