Forum Infrastructure (P) Limitedare one of the dominantinfrastructure and real estatedevelopers having there presence through India. FORUM wasgranted a lease in respect of a plot of Land in AdityapurJharkhand for development of a City Centre comprising ofshopping mall, offices, hospital, hotel etc. The Lease wassubsequently terminated by the authorities.

The termination of Lease was challenged by FORUM in theHon’ble High Court at Ranchi where the termination was setaside and ordered in favour ofFORUM. The matter was appealedbefore the Ld. Division Bench ofthe Hon’ble Court, which upheldthe decision of the Ld. Singlebench with the modification in lease premium and directionto the authorities for providing necessary co-operation toFORUM for issue of NOC.
