Khitan & Co. advised Merck Sharp & Dohme B.V. and Organon India Private Limited in relation to acquisition by Piramal Enterprises Limited of five trademark rights from OPIL and MSD B.V for USD 13.8 million approximately. The acquisition includes mainly the brands Naturolax, Lactobacil and Farizym, which PEL intends to continue in the Gastro-Intestinal segment through the over-the-counter route.
