J. Sagar Associates advised Fitkids Education and Training Private Limited (“Fitkids”) in connection with its acquisition of 100% of stake in Thinklabs Technosolutions Private Limited (“Thinklabs”) from existing promoters and other investors. Thinklabs was founded in the year 2006 and is engaged in selling do it yourself (DIY) science education kits and working models based on scientific principles which aims to make science subject learning more engaging, fun filled and valuable to school students. Thinklabs supplies these kits to schools and trains the science teachers of school to implement the program in classrooms. Fitkids was founded in the year 2010 and is one of India’s leading educational services company, providing complete education solutions in sports and physical education, STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) education and career counselling for children from kindergarten to grade 12 and is currently present across 160 schools across the country. With this acquisition, Fitkids has further expanded its presence in the extra-curricular educational segment.
