The Firm acted as the Lenders’ Legal Counsel for India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited in relation to the Takeout Facility comprising of rupee term loan facility of Rs. 156,00,00,000 availed by Mihit Solar Power Private Limited from India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited under its Takeout Finance Scheme of India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited for substituting the outstanding principal amount of the Loan sanctioned by L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited for the purpose of developing and commissioning a 74 MW Solar Power Project in Mansa District, Punjab. Girish Rawat, Partner let the Firm’s banking and project finance team on the above transaction. The other team members included Amit Prakash, Senior Associate, Shobhit Batta, Associate and Amit Pal Singh, Associate. The transaction included drafting of financing and security documents, conducting due diligence, and issuing legal opinions etc.
