At Litéra, we are always excited to find different ways to surface our core technology and make it accessible to more people in different ways. Today, we are announcing our collaboration with Google to integrate our products into G Suite.

ENHANCING G SUITE WITH TOOLS FOR THE LEGAL INDUSTRY

Earlier this year, the Google Cloud team approached us about how we could work together to bring our products to the G Suite platform. This came as part of a strategic move by Google to make G Suite a more attractive offering to the legal community. They want to do this by adding functionality and by making products that are familiar to and trusted by lawyers available in the G Suite Marketplace.

THE ARRIVAL OF CHANGE-PRO® FOR G SUITE

For the first time, legal professionals using G Suite will have access to advanced document comparison technology via the Change-Pro Add-on. The Change-Pro Addon will allow users to compare files from Google Drive, or any Google Docs the user currently has open.

The great news is Change-Pro® for G Suite is now available in the G SuiteMarketplace! It will provide G Suite users with the same comparison technology that is used by most of the world’s largest law firms. They will be able to compare all aspects of a document, not just the text, including formatting elements, graphics, embedded data, graphs and charts between documents.

As a Cloud application, Change-Pro® for G Suite will also be accessible via any device, anywhere (with internet connectivity). New users will receive ten free comparisons as a free trial of the service. Here are some of the key features:

We are excited for the opportunity to bring our best-of-breed comparison services to G Suite. Coordinating with the Google team has been a fantastic experience for us, and we look forward to collaborating further as we bring more capabilities to G Suite. We are currently working on additional integrations across Litéra’s full document lifecycle capabilities in the coming months. Next on deck will be Metadact®, our metadata cleaning solution that removes up to 175 different types of metadata to ensure that what you see is really what you are sending out. Beyond that we will be looking to integrate innova™, which will bring full legal template management capabilities to G Suite.

Paul Domnick joined Litéra, as President in May of 2014. He brings special knowledge about the utility of Litéra’s software products in managing risks in financial services. Paul was CIO of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from the beginning of 2009 until November 2013. There he was responsible for a global team of more than 300, covering all areas in IT & IS such as change management, information security, infrastructure operations and help-desk support, technical architecture, vendor management, application support, programme and project delivery. He was previously group chief technology officer and deputy head of IT for Zurich Financial Services (ZFS) responsible for technology strategy, standards, enterprise and applications architecture across the entire business. Before taking on this role in early 2007, Paul was head of global IT sourcing for ZFS.
