The Firm has acted as the Lenders’ Legal Counsel in the consortium lending led by L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (“L&T Infra”) to the group companies of Atria Solar Private Limited inter alia financial assistance of upto INR 1300.00 Million and INR 917.00 Million to Atria Solar Power (Chamarajanagar) Private Limited, for the purposes of setting up a 30 MW AC solar power project at Halladapura and Kallahalli Villages, Chamarajanagar District in the State of Karnataka and a 20 MW solar power project at Hiriyur, District Chitradurga, in the State of Karnataka and financial assistance of term loan facility of INR 1400.00 Million and working capital facility of INR 63.00 Million to Atria Wind Power (Bijapur-2) Private Limited for setting up a 23 MW wind power project at District Chitradurga in the State of Karnataka.

Girish Rawat, Partner led the Firm’s Banking and Project Finance team on the above transaction. The other team members included Sakshi Puliani, Senior Associate and Varun Chauhan, Associate. The scope of work included drafting, negotiating and finalizing of financing and security documents, conducting legal due diligence on the borrower, its promoters and project documents, undertaking documentation for downselling/assignment of the facility to lenders and issuing opinion on the legal issues.
