Lex Witness does a great job organizing summits in the legal space. The 5th Annual IT Legal Summit, 2017 at Bangalore on 16th June had good attendance by consulting firms, inhouse counsel and law firms. The issues presented are relevant and contemporary as faced by businesses today. The guidance provided by the speakers on various topics was valuable. I particularly enjoyed the discussions in the last 2 panels on Ecommerce and New Age Trends.
Lex Witness magazine is a great read, and addresses quite a few good topics. However, I think it would be really helpful for readers, both lawyers and law students in particular, if there is a section in every issue covering a legal topics in a Q&A format. This can include landmark judgments for that topic and latest developments. Also, a section on do’s and don’ts for law students, along with tips from industry veterans can be a great addition.
Lex Witness has pioneered in providing legal knowledge and updates on various facets of law which enables the Lawyers/In House Counsels keep abreast with the latest laws/issues/judgements/developments in the field of law. The summits held by Lex Witness are also on topics of relevance and contemporary/burning issues and thus enables the attendees get a huge take away on that gamut of issues. Wish Lex Witness all the success in future as well.
Lex Witness has been doing a great job of covering relevant topics. However, I would recommend coverage of current pertinent issues, related to data on cloud and its proprietary issues. Legalities related to focused topics like use of such data by third party, theft and its privacy are crucial in a digital world like today. I congratulate the team for ensuring a quality knowledge platform for its readers.
Lex Witness covers all the recent developments in the legal & corporate sector. I really appreciate the reporting done by the magazine which also makes it a very knowledge centric and useful. I think besides the GCs & Senior Advocates, young lawyers & students should also be featured through the space of the magazine. Lex Witness overall does a good job on keeping the readers updated on the important legal events happening in & outside the country.
Lex Witness is a very thoughtful magazine. Along with legal news it offers a good analysis of the legal sector from different perspectives, happenings and updates. Each category is a gateway to a whole new world of legal news, concerns and opinions. The articles are informative, highly insightful and covers a wide variety of topics. My favourite section is interviews of general counsels and legal luminaries however I never miss on reading Trivia section.
