The Firm has acted as the Lenders’ Legal Counsel for consortium lending led by L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited on the financial assistance of approx. INR 12,000.00 Million to group companies of Acme Solar Energy Private Limited, for the purposes of refinancing the outstanding project debt of solar power projects in various States including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, etc.

Girish Rawat, Partner led the Firm’s banking, project finance and capital market team on the above transaction. The other team members included Sakshi Puliani and Shyamoleena Sarkar, Senior Associate and Varun Chauhan, Associate. The scope of work included conducting due diligence of the borrower, its promoters and project documents, drafting of the financing and security documents, undertaking documentation for downselling/assignment of the facility to lenders and issuing opinion on the legal issues.
