Dhir & Dhir Associates advised NALCO, a Navratna CPSE, on its INR 28.34 Billion (approx.) buyback of 25% (approx.) its equity shares. The Buyback Offer opened on August 30, 2016 and closed on September 14, 2016. The team advised NALCO and the manager to the Buyback viz. SBI Capital Markets Limited on various transaction related issues from time to time. The assignment also included drafting of public announcement, various communications with the stock exchanges and the regulator.
